2023: Constituents donate N45m for Senator Bomai

Some groups have raised N45 million for the purchase of nomination form for Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai, Senator representing Yobe South Senatorial District.

Mr Muhammad Buhari Yusuf, the Zonal Coordinator of ‘Senator Bomai’s Movement’ said the donation was as a result of the dividend of democracy enjoyed by the electorates of the zone.

He said the groups would proceed to Abuja immediately after Sallah to obtain the nomination form for the senator.

The donors, according to him include Yobe South Movement for Good Governance, National Association of Automobile Technicians, Ma’ina Kara, Mbeno Association, Students Union and National Union of Road Transport Workers.

On his part, Bala Musa Lawan, the Chairman of APC Potiskum Local Government Area said that they are satisfied with the achievements of the senator.

“The senatorss a good leader with all the needed qualities. Therefore, we are calling on him to re-contest in 2023 elections.”
Abubakar Baba Dada, described the performance of the senator as ‘Beyond expectation’.

“We will keep on mobilizing people to vote for him in order to continue executing numerous projects he has started.”

Yusuf Zaki, PRO of Ma’ina Kara Association stated that their association alone donated the sum of N5 million naira as part of their support.

Musa Dahiru Abdullahi, the Councillor representing Dogo Nini ward of Potiskum Local Government Council said they had not regretted voting the senator.
