2023: Yobe of Hausa, Fulani association pledges support for Tinubu

Some Hausa Fulani communities in Yobe South Senatorial District have declared support for Gov Mai Mala Buni, Bola Tinubu, the APC president and other candidates in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Alhaji Ciroma Mashio, Member Yobe State House of Assembly representing Jajere constituency announced this at solidarity rally organized by Yobe South Hausa Fulani Forum on Friday in Ngelzarma, Fune local government.

He said “We have so many reasons to vote for Tinubu/Shettima, Governor Buni and all other APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.”

The National President Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Malam Baba Usman expressed happiness with the mass turnout of people, saying it was an indication of their unalloyed support to the party.

“The Yobe Fulani are very proud of you in view of your outstanding support to us.

“It is indeed our duty to thank you most sincerely, the history of Ngelzarma Emirate can not be complete without mentioning your contribution to the community.

“We also thank you for facilitating my victory as National President of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria”. he said.

Speaking, Buni said the large crowd symbolised the returned of peace to the state.

He commanded President Muhammad Buhari, security agencies and the APC administration for the role they played towards restoration of peace in the North East region.

“You could imagine this mammoth gathering, no one was searched for entering this venue, we thank God for the peace”, he added.

Buni also explained that his administration had executed a series of projects across the 178 electoral wards in the state

“we have been constructing roads to ease security operations in the state, we are also completing the Airport project which will one day be used to airlift our intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia and for other purposes.”, he said.

While he appreciated Hausa Fulani for their support and cooperation, Buni urged the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association to intensify efforts towards ending farmers’ herder clashes.
