The All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated its campaign for local government chairmen and councilors in Yobe State, with a call to party faithful to vote massively for the party’s flag bearers in the forthcoming election.

Speaking at the campaign launch in Zone A, State Party Chairman Muhammed Gadaka commended Governor Mai Mala Buni for his youth-inclusive government and appealed to the people of Zone A and other zones for their resilience and loyalty to the party.

Gadaka urged the candidates to accommodate everyone in the party in the state and appealed to the people to vote massively for the party’s flag bearers on election day.

The chairman handed over the party flags to seven candidates from Zone A, where the campaign kicked off.

Aji Yarima Bularafa, a party chieftain, thanked Governor Mai Mala Buni for providing an enabling environment for the party in the state. He congratulated the flag bearers and urged them to discharge their duties diligently in accordance with the party’s provisions.

Bularafa also called on electorates, especially women, to come out en masse on May 25 to cast their votes.

The campaign launch marks the beginning of the party’s efforts to mobilize support for its candidates in the local government elections. With the party’s flag bearers now officially inaugurated, the campaign is expected to gain momentum in the coming days.
