Yobe state All Progressives Congress (APC) State Executive has embarked empowering 2,500 APC ward executives with 20,000 each in the State.
The APC wards executives empowered were from damaturu, Gujba, Gulani, Fika, Fune, Nangere and Potiskum respectively.
Yobe State APC Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka among APC state executives were at the respective local government for the disbursement of the empowerment to boost their financial capability.
Speaking in potiskum and Fika local government area, Mohammed Gadaka said, the empowerment it was meant to assist the ward executives who have contributed immensely
in one way or the other towards the victory of APC in the state.
Gadaka charged the wards executives to come out en masse during the 2023 elections and give massive votes to governor Buni, Tinubu/ Kashim and all other APC candidates in the state.
“I’m calling on APC eligible members who had yet to obtain their Permanent Voter Card (PVC) to do so without further delay, noting that it was by so doing that they could ensure the party’s victory at the polls”, said Gadaka
He assured the APC members that,many Empowerment are coming especially for women as Governor Mai Mala Buni has put all the necessary arrangements to empower 8,000 women in the state.
The APC wards executives Chairmen, described the gesture as “unprecedented and very timely”.
They expressed joy and hope that the empowerment giving to them would make the desired positive impact on the living standard of members.
They also pledged to vote for Governor Mai Mala Buni and the APC Presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu/ Kashim Shettima and other Apc candidates in the state during the forthcoming general elections.
Also each of the APC Local government Executives across the 7 Local government areas were giving 200,000 as part of the State APC Support.
