Constituents laud lawmaker in Yobe

The constituents of Bade/Jakusko in Yobe state  has commended the member representing them in the House of Representatives, Hon. Zakari Ya’u Galadima due to his efforts of providing developmental projects to his constituency.

The people described the gesture as an act by him to improve life and welfare of the people he is representing in various fields.

The people expressed their satisfaction with the way Hon. Galadima acts toward calling the  attention of Federal Government to execute important projects for the betterment and development of the area as well as to improve the lives of people and their economy.

The people disclosed this when Hon. Galadima launched an empowerment of pump water machines to support 50 irrigation farmers in the area to develop agricultural activities and 50 women with refrigerators for self-employment in Gashu’a and Jakusko.

Those who benefited expressed their gratitude to Hon. Galadima for bringing the supports which they perceive will enhance their well-being in terms of improving business and agriculture’s activities in the area.

“This gesture has come at the right time due to floods which destroyed thousands of our farmlands and houses. We are very grateful for this support” they revealed.

Furthemore, Hon. Galadima installed 40 solar street lights in different locations at Bade/Jakusko, installation of solar power in Gwio Kura, providing sevenboreholes with solar energy to the communities of his constituency.

In addition, he gave hundreds of young people both male and females capacity building training in different occupations for self-reliance, empowered hundreds of women with sewing and knitting machines and financial support to start small self-reliant businesses.

The constituents described the member’s effort of providing jobs for the youth as a big vision by also providing scholarship for supporting education and setting the youths on a right direction and curbing unemployment in the area as commendable.

On the other hand, Hon. Ya’u Galadima has built a new ICT Center in Amshi town to connect the region with world in modern communication.
