Coalition of North-East Youth Organisations have endorsed the Jigawa state Gov, Alhaji Badaru Abubakar, as a potential presidential candidate under the umbrella of All Progressives Congress (APC).
Addressing newsmen in Damaturu on Sunday, Mr Habibu Bulama, the Chairman of the coalition said Badaru Abubakar had possessed all the required qualities to be the next president of Nigeria.
“After conducting a SWOT analysis of all contending aspirants, we realised that Alhaji Badaru Abubakar possesses the requisite skills, experience, magnanimity, composure and wherewithal to lead this country to the promised land.”, Bulama said.
He said most of the challenges facing the country were rooted in the abysmal performance of the economy, underemployment, food insecurity and industrial instability among others.
Bulama added that Abubakar’s successes in the private sector as a prudent manager of resources hed indicated his capacity to stimulate growth in the private sector.
“His exposure in the field of governance and his cosmopolitan disposition guarantees impartiality and acceptance from all Nigerians, regardless of linguistic, religious and cultural differences.
“In recognition of the foregoing, we are calling on all and sundry to rally support for the presidential candidature of Alhaji Badaru Abubakar.”, he added.
