Coalition of All Progressives Congress (APC) Youths of Damaturu, Gujba, Gulani and Tarmuwa Federal Constituency has expressed the need for competent and credible member House of representative.
Mr Mustapha Gujba, the Chairman of the coalition stated this while addressing newsmen on Friday in Damaturu.
He said “We are using this opportunity to express our need for a competent and vibrant member of House of Representatives who will represent our constituency in 2023 and beyond.”
He said their decision was informed due to the fact that their constituency was the most affected by the insurgency.
“Our constituency was the biggest producer of agricultural outputs in the state and neighboring.
“Today, the insurgency has not only affected our progress but conditioned farmers to lose their capacity to farm.”, he said.
Gujba said that was one of the reasons they needed a competent and credible who understood the needs and aspirations of the constituents.
He commended Governor Mai Mala Buni for the developmental projects in the entire state and particularly in their constituency, which impacted on the lives of the people.
“Today, there’s no single wards in Yobe state that has not witness at least a developmental Projects or programs from his administration.”, he added.
