Yobe students‘ union supports Gov Buni’s re-election
The National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) has drummed support for the re-election of Gov. Mai Mala Buni in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
The National President of the Union, Comrade Auwal Salisu, said this while addressing newsmen on Wednesday in Damaturu.
He said that the education sector had suffered as a result of Boko Haram insurgency that bedeviled the state for a very long time.
“Gov. Buni had made remarkable efforts in the reconstruction of the displaced structure and payment of domestic and foreign scholarship to students aside others moves.
“In view of the foregoing and wide consultations with stakeholders and student union leaders, NUYOSS wishes to endorse Gov Buni and other APC candidates in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
“We, therefore, wish to call all Yobe state students to come out en masse to vote for Buni and other State Assembly members to ensure continuity,” he said.
