The visit of the executive of the association was consequent to earlier announced approval by the governor to establish four new motor parks in Damaturu, the state capital, adding that the governor has equally approved compensation for the lands owners.
These motor parks will be sited in the four exits of the capital city along Maiduguri, Potiskum, Gashua and Gujba roads accordingly to allow commuters and travelers to have access to their various destinations and reduce congestion in the parks.
The establishment of the motor parks, the statement assures, will create more opportunities to small traders, taxi drivers and tricycle riders.
