The new NHIA act 2022, mandates every Nigerian, both in public and private sectors as well as all other residents in Nigeria to get a health insurance.

He explained that the Act addressed the conflict of interest that existed in the NHIS and also empowered the NHIA to serve as regulator of Health Insurance Schemes in the country.

Muhammed added that at end of the programme, the NHIA expected to see positive changes from the habit of all the stakeholders.
