Emir of Fika confers on Prof. Ali Ibrahim Abbas Magatakarda

In a historic ceremony held Sunday December 24, 2023, the Emir of Fika, Alhaji Dr. Muhammadu Abali Ibn Muhammadu Idrisa, CON, CFR, officially inaugurated the Council of Magatakardan Fika, a body dedicated to serving the community and contributing to the development of the region.

The Emir expressed his immense gratitude and appreciation for the establishment of the council, calling it a significant milestone in the history of Fika.

He commended the council members for their commitment to serving the community and expressed his confidence in their ability to make a positive impact on the region.

During the ceremony, Professor Ali Ibrahim Abbas was officially recognized as the Magatakarda of Fika.

The title of Magatakarda is traditionally bestowed upon a distinguished individual who has made significant contributions to the community.

Professor Abbas, a renowned academic and community leader, was deemed eminently qualified for this honor.
