Yobe state Correspondents Chapel (NUJ) mourns former Governor Bukar Abba

Yobe State Correspondents’ chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, has joined the nation in mourning the passing of former state Governor Bukar Abba Ibrahim.

The chapel acknowledged his distinguished career in public service which has left an indelible mark on the state and the country.

In a press statement, signed by its Chairman Ahmed I Abba, the Chapel stated that Bukar Abba’s death is a significant loss not only for Yobe State but for the entire nation.

” His dedication to public service and his genuine concern for the well-being of his people were hallmarks of his leadership,”the chapel acknowledged.

The members of the chapel therefore extends their deepest condolences to his family, friends, and associates during this difficult time.

The Chapel equally acknowledges the outpouring of grief and tributes from across the country, reflecting the widespread respect and admiration Governor Ibrahim garnered throughout his life.

“We join in honoring his legacy and pray for continued peace and solace for his loved ones,” the press statement announced.
