Bye-election: INEC distributes sensitive election materials to LGs in Yobe

The Independent national electoral commission, INEC has inspected election sensitive materials at the central bank of Nigeria in the state for onward distribution and dispatch to local government areas in Yobe east senatorial district.

Speaking to journalists during the occasion, the resident electoral commissioner said all the stakeholders, especially political parties that fielded candidates were invited to witness the event in line with the transparency policy of the commission.

He therefore called on the electorates to come out to vote for candidates of their choice.

He however advises them to be orderly, abide by the rules and regulations, and avoid doing anything to disrupt the peace at the polling units or at the collation centers.
